If you would have told me 4 years ago that I would be excited about Bright Eyes coming to town I would have told you that you're full of shit. I can't think of any other artist I went from hating to loving in such a short time. I finally got over Conner Oberst annoying voice and realized that (especially on his last three albums) he is an amazing songwriter. Conner's most recent album, Four Winds, follows the template left by 2005's I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning and is full of great country-tinged folk songs. I've never seen Bright Eyes in concert before so I don't really know what to expect but I have read a decent amount of positive reviews for his show. And always, the Lied Center is an enjoyable place to see a more laid-back show like this.
