So, two of my all time favorite rock bands around right now are teaming up for the Fall tour most likely to completely melt your face off. Of course, they are coming nowhere near me but, alas, if you live in or near most major cities you'll have the opportunity to see two of the best live bands around in one night. Yeah, I didn't go. I suck at life. Mostly, it was because I hate that venue (Terminal 5), but I think I am just going to have to suck it up and start going to shows there. A lot of really great bands are choosing to play there, but when I saw the National, who are amazing live, the acoustics were so bad I wanted my money back. This was quite close to when it opened, so perhaps they fixed their shit.
I still regret skipping The Hold Steady the last time they came through town with Art Brut. I didn't want to drive to Lawrence on a week night. Weak shit.
